Abstract

This study was aimed to retrospectively analyze the potential of non-invasive serum biomarkers in clinically predicting the detrusor underactivity (DU) in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and low prostate volume (PV). The study enrolled 196 patients with BPH and LUTS at our hospital in the period from January 2018 to October 2023. The patients were divided into two groups based on the projected isovolumetric pressure (PIP): the DU and the control groups. The patients included in the study had PV of less than 50 mL.
