Abstract Background Colonoscopy is important for diagnosis, assessment and dysplasia screening in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). A good bowel preparation is required for complete and adequate assessment. Trial design Randomised, assessor blinded parallel arm trial with 1:1 allocation.
