Abstract
Interactions between individual genetic and environ- mental factors determine the onset of the multi nodular goiter (MNG). The thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR) gene is a convincing candidate gene in the pathogenesis of certain thyroid diseases including MNG.
