Abstract

PURPOSE: To assess the change of interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels in tears and ocular clinical parameters in corneal ulcer patients with moderate-to-severe infection after adjunctive therapy with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) lysate-eyedrops compared with autologous serum eyedrops. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This study was a randomized double-blind controlled trial, which compared two groups of patients at Dr. Sardjito Hospital, Yogyakarta.
