Objectives: Opioids are commonly prescribed for pain management following Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair (ARCR). While their efficacy outweighs their risks in the short term, chronic opioid use is associated with significant adverse effects, such as dependence, endocrine imbalance or respiratory depression.
